Physical MOT
The Physical MOT is a comprehensive assessment for anyone who wants a clearer understanding of their mobility, strength, balance and overall physical capacity.
You do not need to be an athlete or have a specific injury. The assessment establishes where you are now, identifies areas that may benefit from attention and helps you make more informed decisions about your exercise.
Rather than judging whether a movement is simply “good” or “bad”, we consider how your body moves as a whole, how the two sides compare and how your current capabilities relate to your goals.
A complete overview of how your body moves, designed for anyone who wants to exercise with greater clarity and confidence.
The assessment may include:
-
Ankle, hip, torso and shoulder mobility
-
Squat, lunge and single-leg movement
-
Balance and stability
-
Strength and muscular endurance
-
Movement speed and range
-
Lower-body power, where appropriate
-
Left-to-right comparisons/symmetries
You will receive a clear explanation of your results, your main priorities and personalised exercise recommendations. This also creates a useful baseline for measuring future progress.
Return-to-Training Assessment
A focused assessment for people returning to exercise following injury, illness, surgery or an extended break.
Testing is adapted to your current stage and may include:
-
Mobility around the affected area
-
Strength and muscular endurance
-
Balance and single-leg control
-
Left-to-right comparisons
-
Squat, step and lunge movements
-
Landing, hopping or jumping, where appropriate
-
Movement speed, power and exercise tolerance
You will receive clear guidance on what appears ready for training, what may need further development and how to progress back towards your chosen activity.

A golf-focused assessment of the mobility, balance, strength and power qualities that support an efficient and repeatable swing.
The assessment may include:
-
Hip, torso and shoulder rotation

Ankle mobility
-
Hip-to-torso separation
